Blepharitis
Blepharitis is a common condition where your eyes become inflamed, leading to soreness and crusting at the base of your eyelashes. This may be incredibly uncomfortable and cause swelling. It is very rare but some people suffering with blepharitis also experience blurry vision.
Cataracts
Cataracts form when the natural lens in your eye becomes cloudy and begins to impair your vision. This occurs as the proteins in your eye clump together, and the severity of the condition progresses over time. However, it is easily treatable with cataract surgery at Ultralase.
Keratoconus
Keratoconus is a degenerative condition where your cornea becomes thinner, more conical in shape, and your focus starts to deteriorate. It is a condition that gradually gets worse over time, with blurred vision as the first symptom. It can be treated with a surgical procedure called corneal cross-linking.
Cosmetic eye surgery
With age, the skin around our eyes loses its elasticity and can start to look more wrinkled with a drooping appearance. We offer a range of cosmetic procedures to lift the skin in the eye area and restore a youthful appearance.
